Ahoy Buc Fans,
Opening Day is finally here and what a day to remember. We had our first “Nasty for a day winner” Chris & Matt Jamison. They had the highest bid at a charity event that benefited wounded veterans. What a great cause helping people who provide our freedom. Thanks to their generosity they raised thousands of dollars for wounded vets. We had a blast!
We had a great time tailgating and you might have viewed us on ABC Action News with Ty Wilson. I love getting jacked up on TV! Whoooo! Chris became a movie star!
I was disappointed in the crowd size until I remembered back in the orange pumpkin days we had about 45,000 strong dedicated fan bases. It is so funny how history repeats itself. The economy is tough on everyone and I totally understand if you can’t attend the games. I will tell you this for the people that were blacked out. This was a great team win. Last year we could never come back from being 14-3 down this year we pulled it out! Can you say 1-0? Undefeated Baby!!!! I wish I could say that about for my fantasy team, my daughter Destiny beat me. Unbelievable…. Destiny crushed me!
The game was so hot at the beginning and we were getting whipped, but thanks to Ronde Barber with his pick off to the red zone set up a score by soon to be great wide receiver Mike Williams. Things turned around and to get that first win it was pure sweetness. I look forward to the “Kitty Cat” game this week and will be attending the Tampa Tailgate benefitting Cystic Fibrosis foundation where we will be auctioning off Nasty for a day for this great cause. It will be held at Raymond James Stadium in the Club Section. Come out this Sunday at Noon and hang out with me. Let us cheer our beloved Bucs on in the AC in the West Club Level. Come out and help this great cause. Hope to see you there. Here Kitty Kitty! Here Kitty Kitty! Crush the Carolina Kats……
