Ahoy Buc Fans,
Home hospitality and still undefeated! Whooooo! 2-0 and loving it!
You are probably wondering what rhyme or reason I started out with home hospitality since we just beat the Kitty Kats in our first away game. Well, Last Friday night, I and eighty of our friends and family were lucky enough to attend a tour of One Buc Palace. Ryan Williams and associates of the Buccaneer organization were awesome! These nice people were nice enough to stay after a long day of work to stay after hours to accommodate us on the tour. They were so hospitable and friendly to all that attended. Our little league football team was in attendance and the look in their eyes was unbelievable. It reminded me of me as a child when I met BadBuc the original mascot for the Bucs. I was in awe. Everyone had a blast and was really impressed with the staff and the facility!
It also reminded me of change. I remember touring the Old One Buc Place. It wasn’t as extravagant as the Palace we just toured. Needless to say the old buccaneer players would call it the rat hole. Speaking of old players I also have noticed the changes over the years like players of LeeRoy Selmon, James Wilder, Warren Sapp, to Cadillac Williams to the new frontier with Josh Freeman. One thing that doesn’t change is my loyalty to the Bucs win or lose. I remember, as a child growing up in the 70s getting abused from my friends because the Bucs were horrible back then. But winning that Super bowl was something I will never forget and look forward for the new Buc fans to experience the same. Team loyalty needs to be taught to our youth and not just jump ship when things get tough. Last year we were 3-13 and many Buc Fans jumped ship. Let’s hope and pray that the Buc Fans will unite this week and Sell out Ray Jay to help melt down the Steelers. We are going to need the 12th man for this one! The Bucs are off to their best start in 5 years. We have the Ben-less Steelers coming to town let’s get our game face on and rock RayJay like we can. Get out to the game and let’s rock the house.
